Wiki 141 meaning in Hong Kong

One floor, one prostitute is often referred to as One Floor One. In addition, it is often represented by numbers in Hong Kong, the most common ones are "141" and "161". Among them, "141" is a direct translation of the English homonym "One Floor One", which also carries the meaning of "One For One", that is, "one-to-one" service.

Prostitution in Hong Kong is itself legal, but meets two requirements.
- Organised prostitution is illegal, the girl does it by herself not forced or organised by someone.
- By Hong Kong law it is illegal for two or more prostitutes to work in the same premises. As a result, the most common form of legal prostitution in Hong Kong is the so-called "one-woman brothel", where one woman receives customers in her apartment.

In addition, the girl should have a valid visa that she can work in Hong Kong. This is why sometimes girls in James S Lee Mansion got arrested.
