Just a quick follow up as I leave Suzhou, I can confirm all of the dance halls are closed down, went to three of them and they were all locked up tight at night. The website I referenced below has other girls and they assure me they are all really the gals, but the photos are all heavily filtered / photoshopped so expect the real ladies to not be that good looking in person. I will be back again in a few months and report back on what I find.
